Update on Custom Placement Packs
internet January 27th, 2007Yesterday I wrote about the AdSense Custom Placement Packs program that Google had e-mailed about. It turns out that it was more of a blanket e-mail blast than a personal invite. I already suspected it was a large e-mail blast because it never mentioned my name in the e-mail, but rather started out with “Dear Publisher”.
Its all speculation as to what is going on but the consensus seems to be that Google is rapidly increasing the inventory of 300×250 ad units to deploy their video ads. I’m going to take a wait and see approach with this and see what happens.
