So What?

I know what you’re thinking, because I said the same thing when I stumbled on that headline. Today, there are thousands upon thousands of teens making money from their blogs, forums and other websites. When is it important enough for a teen that is making a measly $900 per month from her blog to get a mention on CNET? When daddy is the writer! In the article entitled, Forget babysitting and paper routes, teen turns to SEO, Stephan goes over a history of his daughter’s neopets blog and how it grew into the $900 behemoth :)

At the end, a little motivational push is made for other teens to “seize the opportunity to build assets” and that SEO can be done by anybody, including his 15 year old daughter. Yeah, and a little link love from Daddy at CNET never hurts!

You know what Chloe, I’ll link to your blog too. I don’t want to make it seem like your blog is insignificant, I just don’t think there is anything special about it that is newsworthy, even if its a “spotlight” type article. There is nothing innovative, nothing unique, just another site on the wibbly wobbly web. If you’re into neopets, check out Chloe’s Ultimate Neopets Cheats Blog.
