Nokia And Apple Trade Punches Via AdWords
internet marketing, technology September 6th, 2007I am sure you have already read on the thousands of blogs reporting on it, but Apple recently announced new pricing for the iPhone. Launched at $599US, it is now available for $399US for the 8GB version. It is quite rare for a company to make such steep price cuts so early into the life of a product that is selling so well. I’m sure some early adopters are quite pissed that their new investment has depreciated so much, so quick and Nokia thinks so too:

Steve Jobs also just announced that early adopters (those that paid the full $599) will now get a $100 in-store credit (Yet another first for a company). I wonder if anyone that bought recently can figure out how to get the $100 in-store credit, AND somehow weasle in a $200 price protection from Apple (valid for 10 days).
