Moving Beyond Earnings Per Click or Impression
making money September 12th, 2007I have also decided to try my hand at building a mini-site to push affiliate offers, but I wont begin this phase of affiliate marketing until I am more comfortable with everything. I will need to brush up my copywriting skills and landing page designing skills to really succeed at this but from what I’ve seen, affiliate marketing has some huge potentials.
I signed up for and was approved at Neverblue Ads. I have only taken a brief look at what this network offers and I see a few that may work on beyond.ca. The majority of them look to be offers that wont necessarily work on a forum but would work great on a mini-site or single page pre-sell type sales page.
I intend to join a few more networks to see what kind of offers are available (too bad I can’t see whats available without joining first). Expanding my revenue streams will not only make me more money, but the plan is to also stabilize it and minimize the summer revenue slowdown for next year.

Commission Junction has been pretty good for us. So that could be another option if NB doesn’t have all the companies you want, though I’m not familiar with NB.

I’m going to sign-up to CJ for sure. I am looking forward to see how much I can make if I take a more serious stab at affiliate marketing :)

We just really hit a windfall with CJ selling Real Player’s Superpass. They give out $15/lead (just for signing up for the free trial, nothing for buying it) and we sold 48 leads on Tuesday and 54 on Wednesday. Not too shabby. I don’t think we’ll see another freak storm like that again though.
