Today, I saw that AuctionAds has sent me my April earnings via PayPal. This is great. For those of you who are familiar with Google’s payment system for their AdSense publishers you will know that it seems like ages before you get your first payment. In addition to the regular payment as shown on the reports, I also recieved a bonus payment which was revenue that was not showing up on the AuctionAds reports due to the eBay US data tracking outage.

I replaced Google AdSense ads in a couple sections on my car forums which were not performing well with the AuctionAds and based on my initial testing I will roll it out to a few more sections while keeping an eye on the Google earnings. Because you do not make money from people clicking on the AuctionAds banners, its very important that you give it enough time when testing on your blog or website. Running it for a week and dumping it because you aren’t making any money is the wrong approach.

Try AuctionAds on your blog or website, and see how it works for you. Remember though, give it some time before making any decisions. Buyers that click on your ads are tagged for up to 30 days and during that time, when they complete an auction you will make money. You will also make 2% of the earnings of everybody that signs up to AuctionAds through your referral link which is built into the bottom of each AuctionAds banner.
