I started my blog in late January, and have been making tweaks to it by installing a bunch of useful WordPress plugins and adding content all throughout February. Although the title of my blog says to quit your day job and start making money online, I do not at the moment monetize my traffic. I’m working on building content and value first before I make money off the traffic.

Numbers as of March 1, 2007:

  • PageRank: Haven’t Received One Yet
  • Alexa Ranking: 268,968
  • Technorati Ranking: 228,513

Goals For Month of March

A PageRank update is due soon but I am working hard on growing content and as a result more inbound links from other blogs. I am aiming for a PR2 but it will depend on when Google will push the PageRank information out. For Alexa, even though I think its useless and should be replaced, I am aiming to be at 100,000 or lower. Climbing from 268,968 to 100,000 will be a lot harder than climbing from 1,600,000 up to 268,968 but I think its possible by April 1st. For the technorati ranking, I can’t do much to influence it other than pumping out quality content that other bloggers find interesting (and link to). I guess I could mass ping technorati and hope I don’t get banned. :)
